Golgotha, (from Latin calva: “bald head” or “skull”), skull-shaped hill in ancient Jerusalem, the site of Jesus’ Crucifixion.
In the beginning,
I got ducked. I don’t do ducks.
The unorthodox idea to use SKULLS to share the crucifixion story – this was the beginning.
My own fascination with skulls and the idea to SKULL SOMEBODY with a “tricked-out-Jeep”, directly connected to four different scripture verses with one common thread – “Golgotha”.
Golgotha is referred to in all four Gospels:
- Matthew 27:33 – “They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”).”
- Mark 15:22 – “They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”).”
- Luke 23:33 – “When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him and the criminals there, one on his right, the other on his left.”
- John 19:17 – “Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha).”
Now, Go SKULL somebody and feel GOOD about it!
